With Chrisette Michele’s forthcoming album Milestone on the way (June 10th), she gifts three songs with the pre-order of the LP, “Steady,” “Unbreakable,” and this one called “To The Moon.”
Over the mystical, simmering trap track, Chrisette sings a folksy melody of a committed, divine love, surely inspired by her recent engagement to her manager Doug Ellison.
“If you’re by my side, then I’m ready to touch the sky / If you hold my hand, then I know you and I can fly to the moon and back again,” she sings on the chorus.
