Songstress Heather Headley will head back to R&B after releasing the Gospel album, ‘Audience of One,’ three years ago. The “In My Mind” hitmaker’s new project, entitled ‘Only One In The World,’ is a collection of inspirational records produced by Paul Mills and Keith Thomas.
“I wanted to record songs that are inspiring and uplifting, songs I love singing, and I hope my fans enjoy the variety of songs that I put together for them on Only One In The World,” says Headley
Headley received assistance from her family to create songs on the new effort; her brother Iric co-write and produced “Hey Mama,” and “A Little While,” which is dedication to her mother for managing tough times with the family.
In a new business partnership with in:ciite Media, the twelve track album will be released on September 25, 2012. As she preps the new project, Headley will appear in the upcoming musical, The Bodyguard: A New Musical,’ opening in West London in the fall.
