Braxton Family Values 2.5, a continuation of season two, premiered last month with six all-new one hour episodes. Sisters Toni, Tamar, Traci, Towanda, Trina and matriarch Miss E turns up the heat, letting more fans in on their world wind lives, which include jokes, tears, sibling rivalry and drama. Singersroom recently caught up with the family members, minus Toni and Towanda, and they gave us some details on show happenings and upcoming ventures, including music projects from Tamar and Trina. Tamar on her new album: It’s almost finished. It’s finished to the point where my single…we have a date, and that’s September 20th, the same day as the Tamar/Vince show premieres.
Trina on Upcoming EP: I thought my EP was going to be finished by the end of August, but it’s not going to be finished to maybe a little bit closer to the end of the year. However, for 2.5 Braxton Family Values, you will see my completed single and the video.
Tamar and Trina on Music competition: No…We don’t event sing the same type of music, we support each other, we’re not castmates, we’re sisters, we love each other, we want each other to win and that’s just the bottom line.
