Veteran R&B group Jagged Edge make their return to the airwaves with the brand new single, “Closest Thing to Perfect.”
Penned by the twins Brian & Brandon Casey, the record echoes classic Jagged Edge with an infusion of modern hip hop sounds. As you can tell from the song’s title, the men are raising our women high and showering them with well-deserved compliments and love.
“Closest Thing to Perfect” follows Jagged Edge’s 2017 album, Layover. The new release will probably appear on the Group’s next studio project, which will be their tenth. It’s unclear what the direction of the LP will be, but we hope they tap into sounds from their classic songs.
