In anticipation of the newly announced joint tour, “The R&B Tour,” Grammy-nominated singers-songwriters Ro James and BJ The Chicago Kid, put their own spin on the Jodeci hit single, “Come and Talk to Me.”
Ro James released his new 4-track, Smoke EP just last month. The second installment, entitled Mirrors, is due out later this spring.
BJ the Chicago Kid is set to release new music from his forthcoming sophomore album set for release on April 27th via Motown Records. The crooner has been keeping quite busy since the release of his 2016 debut album, In My Mind. He’s since collaborated with Common, Solange, A$AP M.O.B. and even the late great, Marvin Gaye.
Ro James and BJ the Chicago Kid will be touring together throughout the month of May on a 9-city trek. The tour is set to stop in cities throughout the country including the Bowery Ballroom in NYC and the Troubadour in Los Angeles.
