The singer finds himself waking up with a beautiful girl by his side surrounded by money. Although he’s confused with how they got there, he finds a video camera on the bed to help him retrace his steps. While the pink haired gem is trying to lock in his trust, Shakka finds himself in the midst of a heist.
The clip finds the couple having fun while roaming the streets of LA with a briefcase full of money, but it’s the ending that has things a little messed up.
Too busy blinded by love, Shakka finds himself in a compromising position while viewers see that Aluna has orchestrated the entire ordeal.
Inspired by Craig David and Usher, Shakka’s “Man Down” blends his defiantly British take on R&B with another towering crossover pop hook. AlunaGeorge complements Shakka’s powerful delivery with feminine vocal harmonies, while his old friend Jae5 (J Hus) collaborated on the production.
A second visual is set to follow as the “Man Down” video ends with Shakka being tied to a gate with the words ‘to be continued’ seen at the bottom right of the screen.
