Day26 will celebrate their ten year anniversary in music with a new album and a national tour.
Their 16-stop “A New Day” tour will launch on April 22nd in Fresno, CA and make stops in major cities like Oakland, St Louis, Atlanta, Houston, and Baltimore before wrapping on July 2nd in Philadelphia, PA.
The trek will support the upcoming album, A New Day, scheduled for release in Spring 2018 via 826 Boyz and Empire Music. The project is herald by the intoxicating, club-ready teaser, “4 Shots,” written and produced by Edimah Entertainment, who are the album co-executive producers.
“This journey has been a roller coaster consisting the up’s and down’s, but we thank God for his vision with Day26,” states member Willie Taylor. “For he is the almighty, and we just thank him for this next chapter of our lives. This Tour is about to be electrifying, inspiring and just not stop entertainment!!”
Day26’s self-titled debut album entered the record books as the biggest-selling debut album from a male R&B group in the 17-year history of SoundScan. The album – which included the hit singles, “Got Me Going” and “Since You Been Gone” – exploded into the #1 spot on the SoundScan/Billboard 200 in its first week of release. The album also topped Billboard’s “Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums” chart.
