GRAMMY-Award winning singer-songwriter Grace Weber is fresh off of her performances with Chance the Rapper during his Lollapalooza South America dates and is now celebrating her upcoming North America tour with two new gems; “Space Jam” and “So Solitary.”
Grace, known for her R&B flare, surprised fans with the soulful cuts knowing that her first supporters would appreciate the delivery. Both “Space Jam’ and ‘So Solitary’ were written during the first two recording sessions for her forthcoming debut project.
“Space Jam” is a handful of futuristic melodies strung together to create the ultimate love song. Filled with forgiveness and rejuvenation, Grace is looking to reignite an old love.
As she sings, “We loved so deep/ We found new planets baby/ The gravity/ Pulls me through history/ So time travel back with me.”
“So Solitary” finds Weber discussing the blissfulness of solitude in the under-three-minute track.
“Blissed out/ Laid up/ Bending the time/ I’m good living in my imagination,” she reflects.
In a recent sit down with OkayPlayer, Grace discussed her music and her forthcoming project. “I hope people are seeing authenticity and hearing a real and honest love of music,” she said. “I think people can hear when you put love into a project and I think that love is what ultimately resonates with the listener.”
Grace has been pretty busy over the past 18 months collaborating with Chance the Rapper (co-writing and performing on ‘All We Got’), Francis & the Lights, Shady Records’ Boogie, Towkio, and of course with Nate, Nico, and Peter from The Social Experiment, who are producing her debut album.
In January 2017, Grace co-founded Grace Weber’s Music Lab. The Music Lab is a non-profit organization based in Milwaukee that is working to bring teens of different backgrounds together through music
