Ashlee Keating drops off her power-packed, neon-lit video for “Hurt Me So Good.” Hailing from Southern New Jersey, the rising pop star is coming for it all in 2018.
“Hurt Me So Good” is a sassy pop/dance track inspired by a toxic relationship. Ashlee found herself in a vicious cycle, loving someone who didn’t care how much he’d hurt her.
This isn’t Ashlee’s first rodeo — at the tender age of 14, the singer released her very first EP. The success of her project led her to be selected by Radio Disney to be a part of their Incubator Program for rising stars. Having her singles played on Radio Disney prompted for her to perform live show across the country, including her holiday single, “Ice Kingdom.”
Now stepping into adulthood, Ashlee is singing a new tune. Opening up for Demi Lovato, Keke Palmer, Raven Symone, Jasmine Sullivan, and many others Ashlee has used her platform to advocate for causes she believes in. She performed on the “No Bully Tour” across the East Coast promoting an anti-bullying campaign for teens. She followed up the tour with the release of her song “Red Eye” in 2015 for the independent film ‘The Mint’ in which she also played the leading role of Samantha Cole.
Fast forward to today, Ashlee has been in the studio writing and recording new music with one of Timbaland’s producer/songwriters, Doug Makuta.
“Hurt Me So Good” is Keating’s first 2018 offering. The sassy pop/dance track shows off the singer’s newly created sound as she races for a seat on the charts.
The single is said to be featured on her forthcoming untitled EP. As Ashlee preps to show the world her grown woman stance, get into “Hurt Me So Good.” The playful tune is accompanied by a heavy-hitting visual where Ashlee is seen fighting for love in the boxing ring. Watch below.
