Johnny Yukon is currently counting down the days to the release of his debut project Installation I. The singer-songwriter and producer has delivered his new single with accompanying visuals to commemorate his excitement. Johnny’s new single “Lonely” expresses his frustrations with love and its constant curve balls.
While expressing his love and hate for the woman in his life, Johnny is joined by several ballerinas gracefully dancing around him.
Johnny isn’t new to the music world either. He’s penned several lyrics for Ty Dolla $ign, Young Thug, Camila Cabello and Leon Bridges. The singer was also featured on G-Eazy’s “Eyes Closed.”
In a recent sit down with Ones to Watch, Johnny opened up about “Lonely.”
“It’s built around the feeling of missing an ex or someone you’re used to being with,” he explained. “We all feel lonely sometimes. Even if you’re with the person you love, you might feel lonely. But it’s better to be lonely with someone.”
Installation I is set to arrive on May 4th via Yukon Sound/Atlantic Records.
