The ‘Black Panther’ reign just won’t let up. With the film’s success comes the success of its masterful soundtrack. In a new animated lyric video, The Weekend and Kendrick Lamar display their lyrics for the soundtrack single, “Pray For Me.”
‘Black Panther’ makes history by breaking box offices with a reported $707 million gross in its second weekend. The soundtrack crafted by Kendrick Lamar has also surpassed expectations.
The recently released visual for the Killmonger theme song “King’s Dead” featuring Jay Rock, Kendrick, Future and James Blake has had everyone on edge (literally).
“Pray For Me” notably marks the second collaboration between The Weeknd and Lamar, following “Sidewalks” from the former’s multi-platinum, chart-dominating 2016 opus, Starboy [XO/Republic Records].
