Kandi Burruss is not here for the fake people, and honey, she is making a bold statement. The singer, actress, and businesswoman have released a new single titled “Fake People,” and clearly this is an anthem that Kandi has marched all the way to streaming sites.
“If you can’t f— with the fake this is for you,” Kandi sings. “They always want something for nothing, but they ain’t doing nothing for me. I can’t f— with fake people. Smile in my face, no doubt while you plotting on me.”
Re-embracing her love for music, Kandi has been actively involved in getting her music back out to the masses. While can Kandi has made the decision not to continue making further music with Xscape, which has dropped down to a trio now known as Xscap3, she will perform with them this Summer at Essence Festival. Currently, Kandi is on Broadway portraying Mama Morton in Chicago through mid-March.
