Keyshia Cole gives her man a subtle payback before leaving his cheating ass in the music video for her single, “Incapable.”
In the visual, the R&B songstress performs in a cotton club-styled venue, while her man watches on from a table. The catch is, he is sleeping with another female artist who says, “Keshia is somebody I really look up to.” Sick and tired of being sick and tired, Keyshia has a waitress spill drink on him before giving him the “you ain’t sh*t” look and walking away.
Written by Elijah Blake, produced by Danja, and debuted on “Jimmy Kimmel” back in January, the song tells the heartbreaking tale of realizing the person she loved didn’t put in the same efforts into the relationship. “Oh, what a feeling / The one that I thought that I needed / Was incapable of needing me back / Incapable of loving like that,” she sings.
The video for “Incapable” arrives on the heels of Cole’s new single, “Best Friend,” with both songs set to appear on her forthcoming seventh studio album, 11:11 Reset, due October 20th. The set is the follow-up to 2014’s ‘Point of No Return,’ and will feature appearances from Remy Ma, French Montana, DJ Khaled, Too $hort, Young Thug, and Kamaiyah on the Tupac-sampled “Ride.”
