Singer/Songwriter Trevor Jackson “will sing 4 change” as he works his way through a past relationship ship. In his new music video for “B&W (Benz and My Wallet),” the R&B heartthrob paints a metaphoric picture of him homeless and begging for change as he tries to convey to the world how hard it is to deal with a broken heart, especially after giving your all to someone.
“There goes my love and all my trust / Should’ve never gave it up, now I’m sippin’ on a double cup,” he passionately sings. “She was everything to me, my identity, can’t believe she really got me / I was Batman didn’t know she was Robbin.”
“B&W (Benz and My Wallet)” is the first release from Jackson’s forthcoming project, Rough Drafts Pt.1.
“This a lil rough but in light of ROUGH DRAFTS PT.1 which is nearly here…” Jackson previously shared with a video. “If u truly know me u know music is one of my deepest passions. It is the thing I can release all my pain, frustrations, regrets, hopes, dreams, prayers, honesty, and happiness into. I know it has been a minute since Ive put out any music out and this guitar has been the only thing that’s kept me sane lol #roughdraftspt1.”
In addition to his upcoming project, Jackson is currently shooting the Black-ish spin-off, Grown-ish, opposite Yara Shahidi.
