After releasing the critically-acclaimed singles “Pulldown” and “Overdue” in 2016, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist EarlGréy enters 2017 with a bang, in the form of his brand new See Francis-assisted single “Venus.”
Along with both previous releases, “Venus” was self-produced, written and performed by EarlGréy and his creative collective TheVAMP. Speaking on about the track, EarlGréy revealed, “It’s only natural to think about your past, but you can’t stay there forever. For me, ‘Venus’ symbolizes the unknown and the pursuit of a better world… In life we have no choice but to embrace and get comfortable with our realities; even if that means being alone sometimes. This song helped me get on with my journey, and I’m not looking back, I’m aiming for Venus.”
