British newcomer Brooklyn has released the brand new video for her single “Cupid” a cinematic visual set on the urban London backdrop.
On the song, Brooklyn realizes the love she thought was genuine from a beau is actually fake. “Cupid, it’s your fault for all the pain I’m going through / Why did you match me with somebody who doesn’t value love?” she sings on the chorus. In the video, the lavender-haired songstress sees her relationship unravel in front of her eyes.
“Cupid” follows her online release of “Hold Up” – a remake of Neneh Cherry’s classic “Buffalo Stance.” “Hold Up” opened the doors for Brooklyn to embark on a summer of live performances, seeing her perform to over 6,000 students and perform at a number of festival dates.
