In mid-November, Arima Ederra gifted us with her long awaited EP Temporary Fixes, The 10-track project was a tranquil offering of self-exploration, detachment, love and vulnerability, mixed with Arima’s angelic melodies and wordplay.
Today, the serene singer/songwriter delivers an alluring new music video accompanying her single, “In My Garden.” Directed by Alan Barnett, written and co-directed by the songbird herself, the video shows the singer in a beautiful, whimsical forest.
“The story is basically an ode to growth and the pursuit of happiness,” Ederra explains. “Imagination has always set me free and I really wanted to show the whimsical garden I would see in my head too. I felt like Max from Where The Wild Things Are and wanted to paint the story of me in my garden, in the same light.”
