The most recent social media trending topic is the #UNameIt Challenge based off of an old clip of Pastor Shirley Caesar performing “Hold My Mule,” to which someone created a GIF that went viral by putting the song in the context of listing things a grandma would cook for Thanksgiving.
But R&B group NEXT are taking it a step further by using the “beans greens, tomatoes” list and turning it into a slow jam full of sexual innuendos in their song “U Name It.”
“Heatin’ up in the kitchen right now / I know you feel the heat / And my meat is so tender, it’ll bring you right down to your knees,” NEXT group member RL sings.
