Celebrated producer Salaam Remi has a lot of music to give…
The renowned music maker has released Do It For The Culture, a lengthy project featuring new artists/groups he’s signed (NO PANTY, The Champagne Flutes, Sex All Summer, and Miraa May), as well as songs he’s produced/curated featuring more well-known artists such as BJ The Chicago Kid, Elle Varner, and Mack Wilds.
The songs featuring BJ, Elle, and Mack are below, and each track is distinctly different from the other; BJ’s “Cheating On Us” is geared to let his old-school vibe shine. “Friend Zone” samples Whodini’s “Friends” as Elle Varner keeps a nice guy from getting romantically closer. “Camouflage” fits Mack Wilds’ lane with the 90s vibes, much like his debut album New York: A Love Story, which was produced by Remi.
