You might know NDJ (Nathan Davis Jr.) from his leading role in Nickelodeon’s “Chase Champion” or you might know him from the Target commercial he starred in with Justin Timberlake. He is also a co-writer for “Thug Love,” Chinx’ first single from the Welcome to JFK album, which landed in the hands of Jeremih, who was featured on the song. This triple threat, actor, dancer, songwriter, is now adding recording artist to his growing resume.
NDJ premieres his brand new single “Put It Down,” produced by 3x Grammy nominated producers, Butta-N-Bizkit. On the bouncy, “baby making” groove, which features Jacob Latimore, Algee Smith, and Malcolm Kelley, NDJ’s vocals float over the suggestive synths and bass tremor, and the after effects is a gem that will lead to more knocks on his door from excited young ladies.
Keep an eye out for NDJ’s role in the 2x Oscar award winning director, Kathryn Bigelow’s, untitled Detroit riots-based film, featuring heavy hitters like John Boyega, Laz Alonso, and Anthony Mackie, just to name a few, set to release in 2017.
