UK R&B artist Ricardo Williams takes a page from the golden era (the 90s) for his recent release, “Deeper.” On the sultry gem, which he wrote, arranged, recorded, mixed, and released in 24hrs, the talented singer/songwriter delivers thought-provoking, passion-filled lyrics and lush, heartstrings-pulling harmonies about connecting mentally and physically with his special lady.
“Now, don’t get me wrong / It’s not just about the physical,” Ricardo croons on the ballad, produced by UK producer Sillkey.
“I wanted to see if I could really put something out of quality in such a short time but I also wanted to write and deliver a catchy love song that didn’t degrade women, you know that kind of music we all love and miss,” states Ricardo.
Deeper is the first single off of Ricardo’s next album, slated for early next year. The project will be influenced by some of his favorite artists, including Dru Hill, Tank, Jodeci and Boyz II Men.
