Earlier this month, Samantha Duenas (a.k.a SoSuperSam) dropped “So” which features rapper P-Lo of the Bay Area HBK collective. Now she’s back with her full EP called Garden.
On the 6-track set, SuperSam offers a solid project full of vulnerable lyrics and 90s R&B references.
The second track “A Little Wrong” features an interpolation of Keith Sweat’s “Nobody” and the fourth joint “Like” features another from “Faith Evans’ “Soon As I Get Home.” It all wraps up with a bluesy cut called “The End” about refusing to give up on a relationship.
