Singer/Songwriter Joe is back with a new video called “So I Can Have You Back,” a ballad full of emotion.
Written and produced by Joe, the song sees the R&B singer wishing his ex-love breaks up with her new guy so he can have her back.
“I hope he makes the biggest mistake / Beyond forgivable and makes our heart break / I hope you tell him sorry’s just not enough, and it goes from good to bad,” he sings on the chorus.
The video plays out the exact story line of the song’s concept: a distraught Joe reminisces over his past love, and she does the same. And when Joe’s ex’s new beau proposes to her, it looks as if Joe gets his wish after all.
Joe is currently on tour and prepping his twelfth studio album, #MYNAMEISJOETHOMAS, due out on November 11th.
