After delaying the release of her album Joyride and cutting her tour short to work on new music, Tinashe releases new sounds in the form of “Superlove.”
Produced by The-Dream and Tricky Stewart, “Superlove” features a rapid drum pattern just right for turning up — 90s style. Mid-tune, Tinashe even break out in a rap.
“They will never love you like I love you / Say you’ll never take my love away,” she sings on the chorus the lovey lyrics.
It’s all very reminiscent of the twenty-year-old song that recently took the social media world by storm as the soundtrack for the “Running Man Challenge,” “My Boo” by The Ghost Town DJs.
