Texan R&B singer TJ Boyce returns with the banger “H-Town Chick.”
Bringing the classic Houston chopped-and-screwed feel to the trap soul jam track, Boyce sings about settling down for an intimate session with his lover.
“Already got me a cup of ice / Finna pour up me a dirty Sprite, and let her dance for me in slow mo / She’s my H-town chick, m H-Town chick,” he sings on the sensual banger.
Boyce explains, “It’s a double entendre, contrasting familiar H-Town phrases with deep intimacy. In this concept, any female can be a “‘H-Town Chick,’ as long as she’s laid back and appreciates certain ‘things’ about her dude.”
