by After much anticipation, Rihanna’s video for “Sledgehammer” has arrived, the single from the soundtrack of the upcoming film Star Trek Beyond.
As hard as it is to believe, Rihanna looks a little rough in the clip in which she plays a seductive alien on another planet who completely owns her powers.
Directed by Floria Sigismondi, the visual sees RiRi levitating boulders and playing with mystical matter before she becomes bigger than life. That’s when the Starship Enterprise eventually makes it’s way towards her side of the galaxy.
Catch Star Trek Beyond when it hits theaters on July 22.
