Actress Zoe Saldana and actor Zachary Quinto are a few of the latest celebs to battle it out on Spike’s “Lip Sync Battle,” which aired last night (June 9).
Zoe chose to channel the late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes during her performance of “No Scrubs.” Wearing the iconic metallic space outfit from the video and surrounded by many dancers, Zoe started her performance on the swing, much like the infamous, futuristic video. And not long into the performance, what do you know? Surviving members Chilli and T-Boz joined Zoe to finish out the performance!
Actor Zachary Quinto was Zoe’s competitor, taking on the persona of Missy Elliott from her “Get Ur Freak On” video. He rocked a short wig, large hoop earrings, the denim outfit, and get this: he capped it off by being lifted up by the chandelier!“I’ve loved Missy Elliott since I was a kid and I think [‘Get Ur Freak On’ is] probably the last song anybody would expect me to do because I’m like the white-bread-est dude out there, so I felt like that would be a great departure,” Quinto said during the one-hour special.
