On May 2nd , gospel singers Kim Burrell and Zacardi Cortez were filmed slaying an impromptu performance of Prince’s “Purple Rain” during a Harry Connick Jr concert in Houston, TX.

According to CNN, the latest developments regarding the late music icon’s passing include the U.S. Attorney’s Office and the Drug Enforcement Agency joining forces with local investigators from the Carver County Sheriff’s Office to “provide federal resources and expertise about prescription drug diversion,” says a statement. According to law enforcement, investigators haven’t found valid prescriptions for the painkillers.
