NBC’s The Voice will soon swap out two judges for the next season; Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus will step in for Pharrell Williams and Christina Aguilera, who are departing the show.
According to Variety, Williams and Aguilera will ride out the current tenth season, and Keys and Cyrus will step in for the eleventh season to premier in September.
Paul Telegdy, NBC’s president of alternative and late-night programming, said, “The musical expertise and energy these two incredibly talented women will bring to the show is remarkable. We’re thrilled that they’ll be joining Adam and Blake in what we know will be a magical 11th season.”
Cyrus is scheduled to appear on the current tenth season as a mentor, while Keys mentored the hopefuls on season 7 in 2014.
