Last we heard from Daisha was back in early 2014 when she was signed by L.A. Reid, signed on as model for Miss Jessie’s hair product line, and dropped her danceable tune “Reborn.” Now she’s back with another pop, dance-worthy club tune called “Skin Out.”
The in-your-face party record was written and produced by Swagg R’Celious and co-written by Shalamar Davis. “This is the type of song that when you’re in the club and your favorite song comes on or that moment when you’re dancing alone in your room and the moment you hear the beat… you simply lose it!,” she says. “It’s all about just getting in the zone, having a good time and dancing your ass off.”
Daisha started with a back-up dance career that’s spanned some of the largest urban hip-hop, pop, and R&B acts in recent memory: Rihanna, Diddy, Ryan Leslie, Letoya Lucket, Santigold, Janelle Monae, Jill Scott and Beyonce’ to name a few. She has landed roles on feature films such as, Step Up 2, Step Up 3D, When in Rome, and most recently VH1’s original movie The Breaks. She is also the co-founder of Daisha and Alicia Graf Arts Collective (aka D(n)A Arts), an initiative she and her sister Alicia Graf Mack created; committed to enriching lives through the arts.
