Have you been jammin’ to the new Target commercial that features the Tom Tom Club’s 80’s classic “Genius Of Love” and been wondering who the singer is? Me, too…now we know it’s Tinashe!
The “2 On” singer remade the popularly-sampled song for their latest spring ad campaign. Mariah Carey famously sampled the song for her 1995 hit “Fantasy.”
Next week, Tinashe will be heading out on her upcoming Joyride World Tour on Feb 28th in Minneapolis, and she’s prepping her sophomore album Joyride for later this year.
