Between signing to Timbaland’s Mosley Music label, releasing singles “Smile” and “What Is Love” and appearing on FOX’s “Empire,” V. Bozeman is making quite the name for herself.
Now, she has linked up with Tyrese for “You Can’t Break Me,” an emotional duet where they take on the roles of a man and woman in a tumultuous relationship. On the song, Bozeman displays strength in leaving a disrespectful significant other, played by Tyrese. “You can’t break me / cause you don’t make me, I can do bad myself,” she sings on the chorus.
Like his beggin’ stance on his 2015 single “Shame,” Tyrese admits he’s made some mistakes, however, on this one, he vows he’s not gonna leave the relationship. “Now when I get back have my tacos ready…you know damn well I ain’t going nowhere,” he replies.
