11-time GRAMMY-winning legend and reigning Queen of Gospel Shirley Caesar taps R&B crooner Anthony Hamilton for her latest single, “It’s Alright, It’s Ok.” The feel good, inspirational record blends Caesar’s powerful voice with Hamilton’s vibrant, soul delivery.
“It’s Alright, It’s Ok,” written by Courtney Rumble and Stanley Brown and produced by Stanley Brown, is the lead offering from Caesar’s forthcoming new album, slated for release this spring.
Fans can watch Caesar and Hamilton perform the record live for the first time during BET’s Celebration of Gospel, airing January 31st (at 8 pm/7c). Caesar also opens the Andraé Crouch all-star tribute performance during Gospel’s big night.
As far as her forthcoming LP, Caesar says: “It has been more than two years since I have recorded a project so, needless to say, I am very excited about my new release, ‘It’s Alright, It’s Ok’ that also features Anthony Hamilton. It is my prayer that you will be blessed not only by this song but all the others that will be featured on my upcoming release.”
