Like the “Let Me” single before this one, Kenya gets French, London-based producer Tom Glide to revamp “Make U Smile” featuring Brandon McKenzie, a track from her acclaimed album, My Own Skin.
“This is one of my favorite songs from my album ‘My Own Skin’ mainly because it’s simply a ‘feel good’ song,” Kenya explains. “I’m excited to release this new rework version because it now has an extra level of groove that I believe listeners will enjoy. Featured artist Brandon McKenzie is the writer and composer while Kendall Duffie from Kloud 9 is the original producer.”
