Keeping it trill as always, R&B crooner Lyfe Jennings remakes Adele's "Hello" with a "hood" perspective.
Known for his soulful voice, Lyfe Jennings is no stranger to hitting notes and pulling out the emotions. In this flip, Lyfe is coming from a place where all women in "situationships" would love to see their other half come from.
"I'm killing off the old me who couldn't love a woman right, the old me that was in the streets," says Lyfe when asked about the opening lyrics to the remake. "I'm saying goodbye to old friends who delight in the old me, and giving birth to a new Lyfe."
Currently working on a new project set to drop later on this year, Lyfe is prepping for the release of his new single "Without You" coming in early February.
