Daron Jones of the quartet 112 releases his new mixtape The Unofficial Diary Of Daron Jones, a set of covers love songs from some of R&B’s classic crooners.

With just keyboard accompaniment, Jones takes on Donny Hathaway’s “A Song For You,” The Commodores “Zoom,” Brian McKnight’s “Never Felt This Way” and more for a sentimental, stripped down listen.

“I wanted to create a body of work that would remind you of when R&B music sounded like a page out of your private diary…. It was important to me to create a body of work that would introduce who I really am vocally to my #TeamDaronJones family in a very personal way through music,” he told This Is RnB, who debuted the project.

Good stuff!
