Earlier this month, it was announced that UK phenom Sam will perform the theme song, “Writing’s on the Wall," for the upcoming James Bond film, Spectre, making him the first man in 50 years to record a Bond theme song (after 1965’s “Thunderball” recorded by Tom Jones.) Now, it has officially arrived for your listening and purchasing pleasure.
Like all Bond theme songs, “Writing” is a dramatic song of epic proportions, made even moreso by Smith’s powerhouse vocals and impressive range. “I am so excited to be a part of this iconic British legacy and join an incredible line-up of some of my biggest musical inspirations," he wrote on Twitter this month. "I hope you all enjoy the song as much as I enjoyed making it.”
