Judging from the trailer (below), Tinashe plans on coming for blood with her new album this year titled Joyride, a nod to the whirlwind ride of experiences she encountered this year – she released her debut LP Aquarius late last year to favorable reviews and opened for Nicki Minaj on her worldwide Pinkprint tour.
“With all this traveling I've done this past year and everything I've gone through, it just really feels like an adventure, a journey, a ride,” she told Rolling Stone.
It’s safe to say she made a name for herself, but she doesn’t plan on stopping until she becomes a household name. Still on the to-do list is touring with Katy Perry in South America and then trekking the globe in support of her own sophomore opus.
Said album will feature superstar producers such as Max Martin, Dr. Luke, Hit-Boy, Boi-1da and even Tinashe herself. Witness the beginning of a new era unfold in the trailer below, and read Tinashe's full interview on Rolling Stone here.
