Autopsy: Medical Examiner Says Bobbi Kristina Wasn’t A Victim of Foul Play, Family Breaks Silence

Following the near-drowning incident on Jan 31, Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, was under criminal investigation as a person of interest in the case for foul play. However, following her death on July 26 and an autopsy, a medical examiner reports there are no obvious signs of foul play.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner states there were "no obvious underlying cause of death" and "no significant injuries were noted."

However, the medical examiner’s office plans on acquiring medical records from previous hospitals BK had been admitted to factor in drug testing information to determine if those results should be used in this investigation. Gordon has admitted he and BK were doing drug activity prior to the incident. An official cause of death will be announced only after the medical records are reviewed.

It was reported that BK had bruises on her face at the time of her initial admittance to the hospital, but those injuries could have been sustained from CPR and/or a recent auto accident she was involved in just days prior.

In related news, her father, R&B singer Bobby Brown has spoken about the tragic loss of he daughter. In a statement, Brown states, “Krissy was and is an angel. I am completely numb at this time. My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory. Our loss is unimaginable."

Nick Gordon’s mother, Michele Gordon, has also spoken out about their loss via a statement to the LA Times. “The passing of Bobbi Kristina is devastating to Nick and our family. Nick loved and cared for Krissi deeply, and he has suffered greatly each and every day they’ve been apart. Nick and our family are in mourning, and we ask that you respect our privacy. Our thoughts and prayers are with both the Houstons and the Browns during this difficult time.”
