Janet Jackson’s “No Sleeep” Cracks Urban AC Top 5 After Three Weeks

Janet Jackson's comeback single, "No Sleeep," continues to rise on the charts. The record jumped four positions to claim the No. 5 spot on the Urban AC chart only three weeks after its debut. "No Sleeep" is also solid on the Billboard Adult R&B chart, sitting pretty at No. 6.

"'No Sleeep' has completely taken us by surprise by how quickly it has taken off," said Jon Cohen, EVP, Recorded Music, BMG US/ Vagrant Records. "What was meant to be a laid-back introduction to the campaign has taken Urban AC by storm, hitting the Top Five within three weeks and has sold 60,000 singles in two weeks. All I can say to all of Janet's fans is 'Wait til you hear the rest of the album!'"

"Fans across the continent have been showing Janet Jackson that their love for her and her music is 'Unbreakable,''" said Brad Wavra of Live Nation. "Ticket sales are on fire, we continue to add shows as demand for tickets is unprecedented."

The music icon recently revealed the lyric video for "No Sleeep," which features a glimpse of the single's recording with legendary producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, who co-produce the album with Ms. Jackson.

Janet Jackson's upcoming, yet untitled album is due out this fall.
