Fresh off the heels of accompanying Puff Daddy at the BET Awards, Pharrell Williams releases a new song called “Freedom” as a part of the launch of Apple Music's Beats 1 Radio platform (on which Williams will serve as a DJ).
Much like his mega-hit “Happy,” “Freedom” sounds optimistically carefree in all its finger-snapping glory, but listen harder: the lyrics are a bit deeper as he preaches about finding ones' individuality.
