After their freestyle "Sandlot," Cali duo Jake&Papa releases "Beat in the Trunk," featuring Miami singer Major Myjah.
This is another swaggy joint from the brothers produced by Ken Nana that has them praising their ride or die ladies. "I just might take her on the road with me," they sing.
They explained, “More than my girl, that’s my dawg. She wherever I’m at.’ That line pretty much embodies what this song is all about. Where you’ve been putting in work and you feel shit about to take off… If you’re a real one, you’re giving your girl the game as it comes to you so that she’s confident, well aware and well prepared.”
“Beat in the Trunk” is from their next project, Sexual Warfare, which is due out in August.
