On the Tommy Brown and Mr. Franks-produced track, Monét searches for sincerity as she treads through daily pressures. "The big goal, of course, is happiness, but not every day is so bright," she told The FADER. "So 'See The Light' is a song about sharing those feelings with someone special who understands where you're coming from. After all, those bad days help you appreciate the best days."
