The rumors were indeed true, music icon Janet Jackson will make her comeback in 2015. On her 49th birthday, the singer-songwriter gifted fans with some exciting news, she announced a new album and world tour.
Janet delivered the news via a video, which she posted with the hashtag #ConversationsInACafe, presumed to be the title of the upcoming LP.
"I promised you'd hear it from my lips, and now you will," Jackson states in the below video. "This year: new music, new world tour, a new movement. I've been listening. Let's keep the conversation going."
Speculation surrounding Janet's new album began spinning last week after a photo of a document with a possible release date was leaked.
Janet's last studio album was 2008's Discipline.
