The stage is set, the lambs are in the front row, that must mean it's time for Mariah Carey's "Mariah #1 To Infinity" Vegas show!
Last night (May 6) was opening night of the legendary chanteuse's residency at The Colosseum at Caesar's Palace, and the reviews are in…the critics say it’s pretty good!
This is Vegas, baby, so of course the show features multiple hair and wardrobe changes, an elaborate set, and all the glitz and glam a Mimi show in Vegas can muster. Carey belted out all 18 of her number one hits in chronological order, from "Vision of Love" to "Touch My Body" (in which Mariah invited a lucky male fan from the audience on stage to be teased with a feather while blindfolded on a bed) and ending with her newest single "Infinity."
As for her voice, critics say Carey chooses her vocal battles wisely, often using the original recordings in spots, but no cringe-worthy moments overall.
Want to see Mariah in Sin City? Get your tickets soon (at Songkick.com) because she’s only doing 18 shows, three night a week in May and July.
