Mariah Carey will make her triumphant return to the Billboard Music Awards stage for the first time in 17 years, and it's only right.
According to Billboard, the music icon has more No. 1 songs on its Hot 100 chart than any other solo artist in the chart's 56-year history.
It's unclear what song Carey will be performing, but a medley would be great since she will be in the midst of her "Mariah #1 to Infinity" residency at The Colosseum inside Caesars Palace.
Other confirmed performers include Iggy Azalea, Fall Out Boy featuring Wiz Khalifa, Kelly Clarkson, Hozier, Nick Jonas, John Legend, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Britney Spears, Meghan Trainor, and Empire cast members Jussie Smollett (Jamal) and Bryshere "Yazz" Gray (Hakeem) with Estelle.
The "2015 Billboard Music Awards" will be hosted by Ludacris and Chrissy Teigen and broadcast LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 17, on ABC from 8:00 PM–11:00 PM ET.
