Stacy Barthe unwraps a tribal music video for her song, "War IV Love," a record that sees her passionately singing about her devotion to love as if she's a refugee or prisoner. The visual coincides with the tribal music, and lyrical content as the Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter is draped in kindred clothing while she handles her throne.
"I'm basically playing a voodoo priestess presiding over a marriage," she told The FADER. "I pretty much have suffered a war my entire life, me battling myself and the world, and then to end up with somebody that just absolutely adores you — I would suffer a war if it meant victory. I'm trying to get to the better place."
"War IV Love" is a re-release that have also graced the soundtrack of BET’s Being Mary Jane.
Stacy's is currently prepping her debut album, BEcoming, slated for later this spring via Motown Records. The set is being produced by John Legend.
