Rihanna – American Oxygen

Rihanna has always been bad a**, but "political" Rihanna may be a whole other level!

As you probably know, Rihanna hails from the Barbados. But she shows some pride for the U. S. of A. on her latest single “American Oxygen,” in which she the expresses the ideals of the country. “You can be anything at all, America,” she sings while diverse, patriotic images flash across the screen.

The video primarily focuses on famous vintage images of national pride, devastation, and hope coinciding with images of recent events like the civil rights marches, Ferguson protests, and the 9/11 attacks.

RiRi appears sporadically in the video as she sings in front of the American flag in a black leather jacket.
