After dropping his Coke, Jack & Cadillacs EP in 2013, James took it easy for the majority of 2014, releasing a single here and there.
Well, the NYC artist has been working on his debut album due out later this year, and to promote the upcoming opus, he’ll be offering up “experimental songs that are signaling his transition to the vanguard of the music scene.” Today we have “5th Gear,” another moody and sensual groove Ro does so well.
Produced by Braden Blair and Matt Cody, Ro’s gruff vocals contrast with the the simple yet rhythmic track: “I’m thinking that you should come and spend the night / I want you to come and flex up on it,” he suggests.
