Grammy nominated R&B singer-songwriter Eric Roberson delivers the visual for his second single, "I'm Not Trying To Keep Score No More," in which he uses a game of football to spread his relationship message.
In the clip, filmed during the Capital Jazz SuperCruise, Roberson (captain) and his team (Anthony David, DJ Kemit, and DMo Macklin) face off against the ladies, empowering soul singers Algebra Blessett, Avery*Sunshine, Carmen Rodgers and Carolyn Malachi as Leading Lady and Captain.
The rough house football game is starkly juxtaposed with images of bragging, arguments, struggles, etc., which serves as a metaphor for the problems in a relationship.
"I'm Not Trying To Keep Score No More" appears on Roberson's latest album, The Box.
